An Ayutthaya policeman, accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl, has turned himself in to the Crime Suppression Division but denied the allegation. The 58-year-old officer yesterday met acting Pol Col Maitri to acknowledge the charge. Officers were told to question Pol Lt Sombat and lodge a complaint with the Criminal Court yesterday, Pol Col Maitri said, adding the suspect was denied bail. The CSD found the underage girl was first lured by a relative to sell sex in Ayutthaya. Kanwela later checked out his profile on Facebook, which said the man was serving in executive posts for several companies.
